We try to stop here whenever we are passing through. We let the kids pick out a few treats and we try some cheese that strikes our fancy. Really good variety of cheese, fudge and meats. The staff is always welcoming as well.
The associated gas station has a delightful rhubarb wine that we can't get enough of as well.
This is a retail location and sells cheese from their factory and other locations. It's definitely a tourist location. The shop is full of fun gifts and the women in the shop were super nice and helpful. The cheese curds are a must!
Been seeing this wonderful cheese shop outside of Tomah for years on our way to Coloma. Finally decided to check it out and we're AMAZED at everything they have to offer! Many varieties of cheese, some of which have been aged for over 25 years. Seen a well aged Spanish Grand Queso that reminded me of a Parmesano Reggiano. Tasted so delicious we went back for more but, were sold out. Still got some delicious Danish Blue, Morel and Leek (Definitely get the leek but, subtle morel flavor is lost in the sharpness of the cheese. Danish Blue was absolutely phenomenal. One of the best Blues I've ever had. If you love Blue Cheese YOU NEED TO BUY THIS!! Even spotted a Greek Kasseri Cheese. Fantastic ice cream in very different flavors, snacks, souvenirs, sauces, dips (Monterey Jack Queso was excellent. Although it tastes VERY similar to Pace.), and jellies. Will make it a point to swing by whenever we're in town. Was quite impressed with their cheese knowledge too!
Nice selection of cheese and gifts. Cashier was friendly but too "chatty". We found out there was a veteran discount when she was done with our transaction and she claimed she couldn't re-do it. Not very good customer service. 😢 …
Great place! Women were helpful as I was overwhelmed with choices. We bought cheese fudge with walnuts. I know it sounds weird right?! It was so delicious had to go back in store to rave about it!!!!
